Consultations

Sleep medicine consultation services are provided by board certified sleep specialists. They treat a broad range of sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome, insomnia, daytime sleepiness, narcolepsy, among others.

Sleep Study/Polysomnogram

This is a study where various body processes are monitored including your brain activity, eye movements, breathing, oxygen saturation, heart rate, and leg movements. Such a study is performed onsite, where you will come in the evening the day of the test. At ASDC, comfortable bedrooms will make you feel right at home. Certified sleep technologists will be present for your testing. They will be monitoring you throughout the night as you sleep. This study will continue all night long and finish early in the morning. After the results are reviewed, your specialist will go over the results and treatment plan with you and your primary care provider. There are various types of sleep studies that can be performed, including diagnostic studies, split night studies, pressure titration studies, or multiple sleep latency tests.

Sleep Medical Equipment

At ASDC, we provide sleep medical equipment onsite in order to give you quality comprehensive care. This includes the latest continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) devices, masks, humidifiers, and other medical equipment necessary for your sleep care and health. Our equipment is of the highest quality as your health is our first priority. We tailor to your needs and we will work closely with you on proper use of the sleep equipment to maximize effectiveness of the treatment. Overnight Video Electroencephalography (EEG)

Comprehensive quality care is exactly what it means. At ASDC, we also do overnight video EEGs with/without a simultaneous sleep study. This is a procedure is needed to make diagnosis of complicated sleep disorders including seizure during sleep. In this test, your brain waves are being recorded. An excellent certified EEG technologist will perform the study. After the results are reviewed by your specialist, he/she will go over the results and treatment plan with you and your primary care provider.
